Experience
Background: I am a graduate of Hunter College of C.U.N.Y. where I earned a BA in Math with a minor in Statistics and Computer Science. I held numerous computer, project management and financial analyst positions with Fortune 500 companies such as AT&T and MetLife for several decades. Teaching & Tutoring Experience: I recently retired from an adjunct professorship of Mathematics at CCM. During my 10 year tenure at CCM I have taught business Math, pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II to over 1000 college students; and tutored dozens of students at the college, high and elementary school levels. I was a substitute math teacher at both the Washington and Mt. Olive township middle schools. Concurrent with the above, I have taught religious education for over 25 years at the middle, high school and adult levels. (References and teaching evaluations available upon request). I am capable of teaching several other subjects but my passion is Algebra. Commendable Qualities: patient, highly motivated, empathetic, passionate and above all caring. I believe that no one cares how much you know until they know how much you care. A value-added team player with a proven track record and passion for improving bottom line results in both business and academics.
